The old place is still there - back of the Inverness College's former Longman building. What's no longer there is the neighbouring Burdens building (old Highland Omnibus depot), which has been demolished.
The now cleared site next door, and most of the former College's front car park, is going to be a new "justice centre." Their neighbours on the other side are in a large Police station. Some people won't have so far to travel when they're going to court...
The current courts that are based in the Castle, will move down to here, which in turn means that the castle is going to be opened to the public, and have other uses. Everyone's moving about.
Tomorrow will see the (full-time) teaching staff return to the College from their Summer break. Year three at the new campus is now underway. Time's flying by.
