Incredible concrete of Dunkirk

Having left Dusseldorf in the morning, and stopping at another Autobahnkapelle, crossing through Netherlands, Belgium and into France without a passport check or a queue we drove for the coast.

Ian found some of the most magnificent concrete I've ever seen in the Dunkirk dunes. They were constructed by the nazis to fortify the occupied French coast, and there are many many of these structures!
