A Hat with History

Spent an enjoyable Sunday morning at HB's Steampunk Weekend where I chatted with this lovely lady wearing this beautiful hat.   The hat belonged to her grandmother and everything on it came out of her grandmother's sewing box.   The Sylko threads were made in Skipton and the material and bobbins came from Queen Street Mill, Burnley.    A work of art and a hat with a history.
