Japanese anemone

I decided not to walk today, but to return home to catch up on a few things before the week proper begins. My diary is very full already.

Arth and Aggie survived yesterday's walk well, although my quads muscles are a bit sore today. (Not surprising.)

The weather was much nicer in the Lakes this morning than here.

I've had a quiet afternoon. A foray into the garden revealed that the Japanese anemones are almost over and nearly all the flowers were rain damaged. I found this one, just starting to open. 

It was good to hold my camera again after a weekend with the iPhone camera.
