Clearly whatever it had sniffed in the air must have, it shot off in that direction moments later :-)
The extras are shots of what is happening near the heart of a local woodland, and appear on first sight - frankly - devastation, trees being cut down seemingly all around for no real reason - they look fine.
For a wood its a disturbing sight - for me anyway, until you know the plan. There are several notices, each reads the same, here's a snippet:
within 0.2 hectare of that wood there are Sycamore trees:
'Sycamore do not support the wide variety of wildlife that the more typical oak, birch and hazel trees do. They cast a heavy shade and set seed freely'
'The area will be allowed to regenerate with saplings of native trees and shrubs. The timber will be used for heating buildings.'
the work will be completed this Autumn/Winter. Interesting to see.
