Where eagles dare ...
... continued our exploration of the hills and moors between Pitlochry and Aberfeldy starting at Netherton on the Foss Road and our departure point for a walk to Duntanlicht Lochan earlier in the summer. This time we took the left hand fork and walked on and up till we reached a pass which had we continued would take us down to Starthtay (we saved that for another day).
Cracking views all round - I especially love the view over to the Glen Tilt Hills, Beinn a Ghlo and Ben Vrackie as blipped.
The best bit came on the way down when Mr T spotted an extremely large bird, so large and flying so high we think it was an eagle, which we stopped a watched for a good few minutes. Magical.
