And now the sunflower releases the flower buds

This is a sun flower from my compost bin
not important you may think
but blippers that know me 
understand I had the pleasure of my wuzzy parrot a Timenae grey from the small island of Timenae..
I had the wonderful time with Wuzzy the parrot for about 45 years.
and when I cleared out the compost bin emptied it on the new garden several sunflowers grew. this is one that lasted it came from the left overs from his cage,and very poignant !!! it is to me, I miss him so much and this plant is like him saying goodbye forever, 
I cannot find a picture of him at the moment but he is in my mind most deep love him buried in the garden here,R.I.P. my lovely Wuzzy.
