A glimpse of the Clyde...

...from New Lanark.

I have enthused about New Lanark before in this journal.

Today I was there to speak at the AGM of the Wallace Branch of the SNP which covers the Lanark area.

Walking back to the car (which I had left in the top car park) I managed to get a few photographs of the contrast between the hills, the river and the buildings which sum up the attraction on of the place - along with its unique and encouragingly Utopian history.
