Loch Lomond
Making the most of the pleasant autumn weather while it lasts! This afternoon we went to Loch Lomond - the canoe in the foreground is ours. Pete and A had a lovely time on the water, while I sat on the shore and read my book. And got eaten alive by the ****** midges.
Our particular spot here is a favourite - Firkin Point (just north of Inverbeg). When Pete and I first started going out we were a long-distance relationship, and this is where we went for our first Scotland date - a romantic walk along the shore for a few miles to the south of here. So I'll always have a soft spot for this place, despite the midges.
