A fab day at Nick Nairn's cook school found Z and I mastering knife skills (before the wine was opened), Parmesan crusted smoked haddock tarts, chocolate fondant with creme fraiche and posh amaretto cherries. I also cooked the best steak I've ever had, with a delicious jus (it's not gravy!) so learnt lots of great tips. Safe to say we didn't need dinner and the train journey home was mainly spent in a happy food coma.
