Road Kill!!!

But not this time! Phew. That was close. We've seen so many dead kangaroos on the roads. So sad.
And emus too. They just run, bound, race out in front of you, and whammo. We've not actually hit one yet ourselves. Hope we don't!
Hot today 31°. We camped by the Darling River at Menindee last night (Monday night). Incredibly beautiful!
We're now in Broken Hill, with black lowering clouds and roaring winds. I've double pegged my tent. Fingers crossed it lasts the night!
