Getting Home back blip

We decided to go home  today instead of tomorrow.  We left after breakfast and stopped in Torquay for a couple of hours.  Mainly we needed to get a to get a road map as we knew the M5 was closed between j14 and 16 and we needed to get off at the Almondsbury interchange.  We left Torquay about 1.30 and arrived home just after 4.30.   I had to keep changing the Sat Nav to different places en route to avoid the motorway.  Luckily KG knew Bristol well so was able to navigate  round the side streets.  We felt that the diversions were badly managed and there were road works blocking areas that could have been moved. 
We had a a lovely time in Cornwall and enjoyed the scenery and the food and drink.

Was a beautiful day today and we made the choice to go a day early because of the rain but that's life
