NIGHT MANOEUVRES

......coming up tonight for the SAS (Special Air Service).
We were sitting on our balcony this evening and sharing a nice glass of white wine with my husband's sister, who is visiting for a couple of weeks, when we spotted the SAS heading down river for night manoeuvres.  We see them often as they head out for the night and you see them in the morning returning (if you are up early enough).  'Hard yakka' an Aussie would say for these boys.  They are a special breed and we are thankful they do what they do.

A very hazy day today with smoke lingering.  No wind to speak of to blow it away.
