Frilly fungi

Cold, damp and dull - not a day for blip inspiration!

After a late night, we had a VERY late start this morning, and it was almost midday before we walked around the Common with Louie. Lots of fungi in the woods, including these. Enquired of MrM as to what they might be, and his reply was "best avoided"!

Over to Belford late in the afternoon to take a fiddle to Andrea - tomorrow she'll pass it on to its new temporary owner. We stayed a while and all went down to her local pub for a drink. Glad we'd left a stew in the slow cooker ready for our return, which was an awful lot somewhat later than intended...
