Llanddwyn Island

Day two of our holiday in Anglesey and we drove down to Llanddwyn Island.  After dodging rain showers in the morning we ate lunch in the car and then set out to walk along the beach to the island.

There was a film crew who had claimed a gap in the rocks - we have no idea what they were filming for, but it looked like they were waiting for dusk as they had a large bonfire and lamps prepared.  There were also some horses being ridden in the surf.

We walked through to the end of the island, taking the usual iconic shots of the lighthouse whilst looking out for other more creative options.

We left before dusk, although we'd have loved to stay longer!  The sky was going a lovely orange even though the sun was yet to set.  We walked back to the car and drove back to the cottage for dinner.
