Even at the age of ninety and a half (the half makes a huge difference at that age), Mum is still interested in clothes and accessories. This is her collection of hair slides and bows, in lots of different colours to match all her outfits. Sunday is, of course, a day for making an effort because we have church followed by lunch out.

I did sidesman's duty at St Luke's for Roger's last service before retiring completely from the clergy after 51 years in ministry. I shall miss his lovely joyful smile when placing the wafer in my hands at communion - however, we shall still see him and Daphne as part of the congregation so all is well.
