Enjoy More Travel Information

Wherever we go now we can be connected to the rest of the world, with information at our fingertips. Even if you don't use a smartphone, tablet or computer, there are public information terminals, such as this one at a bus stop, which allow you to obtain information that, not so many years ago, would have seemed like a miracle.  Even the scrolling information board telling you when the next bus is expected to arrive, although non interactive, is still a great help.

Yet it is not so many years ago that the only sources of information were on paper, sometimes irregularly updated and unreliable.

It is difficult not to think that things have improved greatly, even if the constant barrage of information sometimes feels overwhelming.
