Quack, Quack, Quack
Our WWII replica Duck Boat is reflected under a bridge as we cruised along the Charles River on the tour this morning. I've never been on one of these tours, so it was a really fun to do it with Dolly. We had a great day walking around Boston too. We both enjoyed clam chowder and another lobster roll for lunch at Quincy market. Toll House ( chocolate chip) cookies for dessert. The Toll House was a family favorite spot for special dinners out for my family in the 50s and 60s. My mother and grandmothers made Ruth Wakefield's famous cookies using her original recipe. The cookies we had today were authentic in every way and took me back to my childhood kitchen table.
Dolly had another American first tonight, take out pizza. We have one more full day to fill her up with more American junk tomorrow.
For the Record,
This day came in foggy with muggy temps and misty rain in the middle of the day.
All hands happy.
