Vegetation at the Beach

The  photo above shows some of the tall grasses that grow on the sand dunes between the houses and condo buildings and the ocean. The extra shows the vegetation and sand between the dunes and those buildings.  It provides a level of protection from erosion and from high water. In the extra, the clump of plants on the left in front of a house on the left are prickly pear cactus, so I don't think the owners will have any beach walkers wandering on to their property.  It's almost like they don't need the fence they erected.
