Neil Innes

We went with my Dad to see Neil Innes perform at the Bury Met theatre. It wasn't really my kinda thing - more my Dads generation really, but Neil was a really good showman; getting the crowd singing along with many of his songs.

He adopted accents for several of the songs - and with the beret and moustache is here being a Frenchman.

Neil Innes was the main writer for the 'Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band' and was involved with the Monty Python series/films as a writer too. He was also a 'Ruttle' and is still producing new material/CDs as himself.
