Brunch

A rather “messy” day today. Firstly I had to take Josephine to the garage as she had a feint red warning light showing. This is probably the alternator as the battery is new, but when I tried to start her the battery was completely flat. We used my husband’s car to “jump start” her and I dove her to the garage. They are fitting her in when they can as they are already fully booked this week.
 
Then we went into Saffron Walden to collect our prescriptions and had coffee and cake in Waitrose before travelling to Bishop’s Stortford for another appointment. Today’s picture is my usual breakfast, eaten at almost lunchtime in Café Thyme, a gluten-free bacon and avocado sandwich with salad garnish.
 
We did some shopping before coming home and purchased a new coffee machine. Garroways and Bravilor have still not sorted out our faulty Bravilor Novo and I doubt they ever will.

A cold, grey, start to the day, but the sun came out during the afternoon and the temperature rose to about fifteen degrees Celsius.
