Ring of not fire

My better half made an excellent apple layer cake thing last week. Part way through the baking the one of the household RCDs tripped. I restarted the system but we fond the oven wasn't hot.

After some research on line, and logical deduction it appears that the 2.7 kW fan-oven heating element in our John Lewis/Smeg oveb has broken. Here it is blipped in all it's glory before I checked it last night with a friends multi-meter. A replacement turns up in the post tomorrow.
