The Mairie

At Saint-Ouen-sur-Iton tonight. A sleepy little village that appears to have been planned. The buildings in the village centre all have coloured brickwork and twisted chimneys. The Mairie is very grand for such a small place. The butcher, the baker and the bar all occupy one side of the square. The only other commerce is an unnaturally large hairdressing salon.
