Egrets a plenty

The sunshine was just far too tempting to stay indoors and work. So I took an extended lunch hour and went to my nearest nature reserve - Pickering's Pasture - 13 minutes away.
And a lovely hour I had there too - two kingfishers were happily fishing in the pool, a noisy wren was scampering around in the woodpile and 6 white egrets landed at one stage, although annoyingly one was a bit of a loner and wouldn't join the shot!
And then I had to go back to work..........how very annoying :((
But I should be grateful that I have some flexibility...and I am.

An early start tomorrow - I'm hosting a 6:30am conference call for the Asia-Pacific region.
