Day at the beach

My dearest took me out today to a place where we have not been too for years. We went to Cullen, home of the famous Cullen Skink soup.Before lunch went down to the beach which we used to visit when my children were young but on a day like today with the wind howling and the darkening skies it is hard to imagine the beautiful sands that hide beneath the waves.

Oh yes then back into Cullen to a little tea shop where i had a large steaming hot bowl of homemade Cullen Skink and homemade oaten bread. Very nice and must not leave it so long before we visit again.
