A Very Unwelcome Guest

This beast of a spider was caught in plastic cup by my son when I was asleep last night and left in there overnight (not brave enough to put him oustide!). My son took this photo on my camera to terrify me when I awoke! Unfortunately the cup was knocked over and it escaped, so is probably on top of my head at the moment weaving a hairnet Ena Sharples would have been proud of!

A beautiful day today! I had a walk through St. James' Park which has now fully re-opened after the Olympics.

I'm off out tonight with friends for a tipple or two!
