Just Why?

The little Fliegenpilz (fly agaric) standing upright was pretty sad and lonely this afternoon - someone had murderd his entire family with a stick that was still lying around. :(

Whoever it was, he or she was lucky I wasn't around at that time!

I have no idea why one would destroy the beauties, the matter how poisonous they are. They are growing about 5 km away from the next town, so there was no need to protect any young children, the only excuse I would accept.
