Acacia

Another visit to the plant nursery in our garden shed and I was seduced by this baby Acacia seedling. Amazing to think that one day in the not too distant future, this little seedling will be ablaze with golden wattle blossom.

Our new adventure with the Blue Mountains Conservation Society is proving to be a very satisfying one. We're both learning a lot about the plants at Wombat Hollow. Apart from the veggie patch, I'm really keen now to populate the landscaped area with plants that belong here. CCN and I will have a go at propagating some seeds ourselves in the hope that we can bring them on enough to plant them back from where they came.

I'm off to golf again tomorrow and it looks like it's going to be a sunny day with a very light wind. Woohoo, that will make such a difference.
