Mountains of Cusco seen from Business Class

Departed Cusco today, flying to Puerto Maldonado (Amazon Jungle) for the next phase of our trip.

To my delight, when we were checking in we were informed that we were flying business class! I could seriously get used to that. It was a very peaceful/relaxing flight and for the first time whilst travelling I wished the flight was a longer one.

We arrived in the jungle at a very funky airport. A personal favourite of mine now. Then we took a 2 hour long boat ride down a tributary of the amazon to our lodge, which was very beautiful.

All in all a very good day of travelling.
