Meltdown

Growth spurt, beginning of school, impending move...who knows which combination of those has gotten to him, but Sebastien has been having near continuous breakdowns since 2:30 am last night.

He really is trying, poor little mite. Life can be awfully complex sometimes, though. So he tries to control every detail of everything...including everything we do and say to him. There was an awful lot of, "Throw away the thing that you just said." or "Throw away the thing that you just did."  So we just kept on trying until we got it right, since nothing else seemed to work.
