Little boxes...............
Well whatever plans we had for today, went right out the window. When I opened the kitchen door this morning, the floor was wet. I called J, who came to investigate, and he checked the boiler, and it was leaking quite badly. He phoned British Gas, and they said they would send an engineer out as soon as possible. When he arrived, he found the fault almost immediately, which was good, but it would take about two hours to repair. It was a perforated manifold, which was plastic, and so small you could barely see it. We mentioned that we had had the boiler serviced about a week ago, but he said it wouldn't have shown up then. True to his word, everything was sorted in just over two hours. After he left, we put everything back in the cupboard, which is where the boiler is housed, and then went to Aberkenfig, as J wanted to go to the ironmongers. On the way back, we stopped off at the retail outlet, as I wanted to get a diary from M& S outlet. J stayed in the car, so I wasn't long, as he gets bored very easily :-). I took this one shot, and then went back to the car. Back home now, and it's tipping down. When you wake up each morning, you really don't know what the day will bring, and thank goodness, everything turned out well. I think a bottle of wine with our evening meal is well deserved!
