Loughrigg Tarn

Today brought the normal Lakeland weather of low cloud, flat light and occasional showers. What a contrast from yesterday.
Travelled to Loughrigg Tarn in the hope that the weather forecast was right and we would see mist. In the event there was mist about on the hills but was more like low cloud than the atmospheric conditions we had seen earlier in the week. The light was flat and grey with little potential variation but the tarn, in parts, was flat calm and holding good reflections (see extra). There were promises of changing light conditions during the day but these never materialised and the flat, grey conditions persisted through out the day.
