St. James's Park: Scaredy Pelicans

More startled in large.
More peaceful/punky alternative

These pelicans were trying to go under the bridge that crosses the St. James's Park pond, but every time a person moved they'd get a fright and give up. What a challenge it must be to swim the length of the pond...

I visited St. James's Park hoping to see and blip the little Ross's geese ("Cow geese"), but they were keeping well away from the path and not playing ball at all (like last time), so I gave up on them (*sigh*) and photographed the  bar-headed geese, red-breasted geese, barnacle geese, and a person "being attacked" (voluntarily) by pigeons. She made a fuss, but it was all a ploy for attention really...
