When it rains, it pours
Day 3 in the Amazon, and to the weather forecasts credit it was spot on as the storm clouds rolled in. We were treated to a monsoon of rain and an orchestra of jungle sounds mixed with thunder and lightning.
Like the true filmmaker I am I put my rain poncho on and did my rounds of the lodging. It was very special being out in the warmth and the wet. In England I only get the wet and freaking freezing!
This shot gives you an idea of the accommodation and what lies beyond. Caught a few orbs as well. I'll put that down to luck.
