Reading : What's my role?

I attended a Parent Conference run by Education Scotland on our role in our childrens' reading lives. It was an enjoyable few hours and I picked up a few ideas from the other delegates and presenters (90% women).

One interesting workshop I participated in examined aspects of Critical Literacy and Research and reinforced the principle that you should question all sources. For example don't just rely on the first Google result...
