Dawlish

We went to Dawlish this morning to see Colin. After a short walk along the sea wall we all took off for Powderham Castle. There we had a nice walk then lunch by the garden centre. From there we went to Starcross to check out the Exmouth Ferry, but it wasn't running due to low tide so we had a coffee in a local hostelry.  

The picture is of one of the jetties in Dawlish, the extra is, surprisingly, a French post box, in use, in Starcross.

This evening it's the Smugglers Inn for tea :-)
