Gorgeous Gorge

A painting I did after returning from a trip to the Kimberley region of northern Australia.   Geikie Gorge was my favourite
and gliding along in a quiet tour boat was a perfect way to see it.  These gorges along our 'top end' have been gauged out in the wet seasons over time by torrents of rainwater.  Just imagine if that rainwater could be channeled into the dry centre of the country - it would be transformed.  Maybe one day???
