Music maker

My cornet which over the last 14 years has been played about A dozen times and hasn't been touched for the last two years.
The corps (The Salvation Army) I belong too hasn't had a band properly for years and our new Officer (minister) wants to start one up again, there are six of us who are willing to play.
If anyone plays a brass instrument they will know if you haven't played for a while it is killing on your lips.
