LARGE on Black looks best

Despite a damp start to the week, we headed out to Crummock and Buttermere. Getting there was a challenge, as it seems the local councils have decided to dig up almost every road in Cumbria. Newlands Valley was closed, so we tried Whinlatter, to find roads closed in Lorton. But we eventually got there and ewre blessed with calm conditions and light drizzle, which gave great separation behind the island. The weather improved through the day and we managed to get calm conditions at Buttermere too.
