The blurry picture message that told Robin, at 2:53pm on a Thursday afternoon, that he was going to be a daddy.

I'd gone home to accept an Ikea delivery of our new mattress and because I felt normal, and not my usual crampy self, I stopped off at the pharmacy near Old Street station to buy a pregnancy test.

Robin called as soon as he got the text message and I could hear he was grinning :) We'd only just started trying. He was home within 40 minutes with a couple of Clear Blue tests (we're a digital generation, clearly need 'pregnant' spelled out to us!) which backed up the first result and suggested we were 2-3 weeks.

We're having a baby!!
