Abstract? Fall is Coming

Wow....I saw my first signs of Fall coming to the Pacific Northwest US..... this is a maple leaf on my little tree.

Tomorrow we head off to NYC to catch a cruise up the Northeastern US to see the Fall colors there. I hope there is no remnant of any Hurricanes headed that way......I know that is selfish since so many have lost so much from the hurricanes :-(( .....I am just going on a cruise for fun. Sadness and Joy.....can they exist together? I hope so.

I like the way the relative size of the gears are displayed……nice contribution for the challenge of “It is all relative”. This photo also has an abstract art feel to it. Nice.

What I like about this photo is way the spider is holding the web and the light shining on that leg……also love the pattern on his back and the way I can see the veins in the leaves.
