Cald Beck

I like the footbridge over the Cald Beck in Caldbeck village. There was a lot of water in the beck today, rushing down from the fells, and the trees by the river were looking quite Autumnal. The steps to the right lead down to the Holy Well of St Kintergern. I noticed today that there has appeared a nice sign naming the well, but the well itself is looking very overgrown. I’m not sure though that I would like to be working on those steps so close to the swirling water below. 


A little diversion from shopping - for special people arriving in a day or two. They may appear on Blip before that, you never know.
