Through the Knapweed

A friend of mine and David's came to see me today. We escaped from the mess of the house for coffee. It was nice to see him but of course the memories of David generated more tears.

A surprise present arrived today. A good friend had sent me a lavender candle. The study smells wonderfully relaxing. Just what I need.

The knapweed is in flower again but the variegated fusia looks lovely behind and of course you can see the new windows behind it.

I'm blipping this from the conservatory. The mess is slowly vanishing. There is a lot more to go and I'll just keep working until it has gone.
