Rutting time.

After living on an island in the HIghlands with no deer for 14 years, moving to rural France is giving us our first experience of lying in bed at night listening to  the Stags roaring, and it is just too tempting to put the children to bed early and go and watch the roaring and strutting that happens at this time of year.
