Roller derby tryouts!

So my young apprentice took me to her roller derby team tryouts. The Rolling Furies 'open day' is to attract newbies known as "fresh meat". In my case more like, "aging meat"! After 2 hours of looking like a gorilla (knees bent, arms hanging, butt out) and squeaking like a piglet as I almost fell, I realize I'm probably better as a Pom-Pom cheerleader type chick!
