Mr. Elk

We went down to the river this morning and were pleased to find this big guy along with his 4 wives and 2 children.  They were way out in the water when we arrived but slowly made their way back to shore (about 90 minutes).  September is high mating season for the Elks and since the males get very territorial, we kept a safe distance.
