Frustrating day with Larry, he kept turning up & then as soon as I got my camera trained on him he would fly away... or fly deep inside the hedge. He teased me, as he sang really really loudly & I could never find him as the hawthorn hedge is so dense... when I did find him, he was behind a branch & it was just too hard to get a clear shot. Then Charlie Cat came over to see me & Larry didn't like that, suddenly, whoosh, out in the open on the hawthorn tree 'Pic, pic, pic'n' & I managed this shot... ok, so he has a bit of tree shadow, but really, this was best of a very bad bunch & so I have the cat to thank for this!
