Spider spectrum

Celebrated phenomenon of colours, an experiment by Isaac Newton, he set up a prism near his window, and projected a beautiful spectrum 22 feet onto the far wall - but would he have found the same if he had looked into this spider web as I did this morning.. it was tiny, but the colours were magical... you don't have to go far for beauty & nature points you in the right direction, who needs a wall when you can have a spider web? ;)

And Larry..... He's a spectrum of colour himself!

Highlights

Weather started grey then became vivid blue as soon as I complained... usually it gets worse when I complain! The garden was floating in red admiral & small tortoiseshell butterflies on the sedum, aster & late flowering red clover. The sun was warm & Charlie Cat was sunbathing on the outside wooden table which is now covered in a fine layer of lichen! I love Autumn days such as these! :) xxx
