Today is the first day of the Autumn Equinox 2017 and Summer is officially over. However, the weather had other ideas, and produced deep blue cloudless skies and the warmest air we have felt in a long time.

I went out to buy a weatherproof, fleecy lined coat for winter walking, wearing shorts and tee shirt.
