A Sparkling Day...and Sparkling Water

It might be the first official day of Autumn today, but at Wells, it was like Summer all over again.
The water was still and reflective and there was a clear blue sky and warm sun.  We met other members of the U3A Digital Camera Group for a morning of photography.  After a few photos (and temporarily getting lost) we enjoyed our elevenses sitting on the harbour wall, accompanied by a warm almond croissant and a latte…heaven.
Then more photos, and lunch at The Globe,  (where I was very pleased to see that the sparkling water I bought helps to support the RNLI, see extra).  Then B and I  pootled off to Burnham Market to visit a photographic exhibition showcasing work by our photography teacher’s pupils…some outstanding and inspiring work indeed.
A most enjoyable day, enjoying the sunshine and driving around the stunning Norfolk countryside.
